Who Is Tim

Tim Robertson is a dedicated long distance triathlete focused on structure, consistency, and sustainable performance across years of racing.

Early Racing

Tim Robertson has competed in events from the mile to an IRONMAN, and has enjoyed doing so from coast to coast and border to border since 1995. Early in his racing career, he won the age-group gold medal at South Carolina's Palmetto Sports Festival in 1996. As part of The Extra Mile running team, he consistently ran the mile in just under 5 minutes. In 1997, Tim ran a total of 52 races to average a race/week for the year.

Local Tracks to Marathons

After moving to San Diego in 2000, he joined the San Diego Track Club and has been an on-and-off again member of both the north county and metro divisions. To date, Tim has completed 7 marathons along with hundreds of other road races, including the Peachtree Roadrace, Cooper River Bridge Run, Marine Corps Marathon, several Rock 'n' Roll Marathons, the Crazy 8s Roadrace, Carlsbad 5000 and many more.

Triathlon Successes

Tim is currently a member of Tri Club San Diego and races for Pulse Endurance. He completed IRONMAN Arizona in 2019 and is a 7-time finisher of the IRONMAN 70.3 distance. He was awarded All World Athlete status for 2020 and 2021 based on his hard work, dedication, and performance across IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 racing. Tim also qualified for the USA Triathlon National Championships in Milwaukee, WI during the summer of 2026.
